We collect only what we need to run Ajira and help you apply for jobs.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and password (stored securely, never readable by us).
Your activity: saved jobs, followed organizations and alert preferences.
For help requests: your name, phone number, email, notes and the documents you upload, plus payment references.
How we use it
To show your saved items and alerts, to prepare and submit applications you request, to contact you about those requests, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.
Who can see it
Only you and the Ajira staff handling your request can see your request details and documents. Documents are shared with an employer only when you ask us to submit an application.
How long we keep it
We keep request documents only as long as needed to complete and support your request, and account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can view and correct your name in your account, and contact us to access, export or delete your personal data, in line with Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.
